We are recruiting for a Senior / Principal Consultant to work closely with the Steer international transaction team and play a pivotal role in supporting the development of our global Ports & Maritime offer.The successful candidate will conduct strategic, market and technical analyses of port and maritime assets, lead tasks on large projects and manage small / medium projects by displaying initiative, strong critical thinking and team working.Qualifications requiredMasters degree in Economics, Management or Engineering or equivalentProven experience in the advisory sector, working closely with public and private organisations in the ports & maritime sectorRequirementsWhat we''d like from you :Experience in the Ports & Maritime sector is a must , including experience in the advisory sectorLocated in Europe (preferably in Italy)Fluency in English (preferably also in Italian and / or Spanish)Conducting strategic, economic and market analysesAbility to take a Project Manager role and deliver successful projects (time, cost, quality)Ability to create reports in a logical and well-structured way, narrative development / story tellingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly and with confidence analyses findings to non-technical audiences and to engage with clientsExcellent interpersonal skills, time-management and ability to work as part of a teamAbility to take initiative and work independentlyDesirable additional attributesPrevious experience in Due Diligence mandates, in particular commercialEntrepreneurial spirit to support work winningSocial and cultural responsibility is an important part of our culture and values.
