Our brand has been featured in such leading media as Elle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Teen Vogue, Allure, and many others.With a head office located in Barcelona, our team operates across Europe, the US, and China.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and results-oriented Senior Manager - Brand Communications with extensive experience in crafting and executing strategic marketing initiatives in the US market. Proven track record of driving brand growth through innovative marketing strategies, and keen market insights. Adept at leading cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven insights, and ensuring brand communication resonates effectively with local audiences.Your role is crucial in navigating our brand through the dynamic US market, requiring a blend of strategic foresight, creative thinking, and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Support Global Marketing Director in executing the global strategic roadmapOversee a team of 4-5 marketers (including 3 direct reports) showcasing leadership skills.Lead the communications strategy and 360 marketing plan for the US market (PR, influencer, social media, email/SMS, brand partnerships, and more). Create consumer-first programs to activate the market. Special emphasis on dynamic, fresh ideas. Not afraid to test and learn.Ensure brand consistency and positioning across all channels while driving initiatives that resonate with the US audience.Work closely with Barcelona-based team, cross functional partners and retail sales team to create and deliver an omnichannel plan from concept to in-market implementation. Strong focus on DTC with halo to retail sales channels.Partner with high-performing internal, cross functional team (Operations, Design, Product Development, Finance, Legal, Production/Logistics, and Education) to deliver across all annual plans and KPIs.Develop strategic marketing briefs for creative design team for campaigns, photo shoots, and activations. Work closely with Creative Director and design team to ensure final delivery of assets are on-brand and on-brief.Set KPIs for all marketing plans and for all team members. Regular reviews and tracking.Analyze campaign results and provide debriefs and recommendations to internal team.Conduct regular competitor analysis and monitor competitive landscape to identify gaps and opportunities. Develop action plans to address these findings and improve brand performance.Serve as central point of contact for all internal and external team members and agency partners, providing updates on programs and schedules.Social Media - supervise one Junior Manager and one assistant. Responsible for management of all brand social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Youtube, Pinterest), content calendar planning and content creation, community engagement, and more. Ensure consistent brand messaging, audience engagement, and growth in follower base.Influencer Brand Partnerships - supervise one Junior Manager. Responsible for management of influencer strategy and partnerships (both organic and paid), regular campaigns, and relationship management. Identifying new brand partnerships, outreach, and win-win collaborations. Regular evaluation of results to optimize and grow.Supervise US marketing budget and monthly reconciliation. Ensure marketing initiatives are cost-effective and drive strong ROI.Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring the brand remains competitive in the evolving US market.Our Ideal CandidateMinimum 6-8 years of experience in brand and communication roles, with at least 3 years in beauty/CPG. Previous experience in color cosmetics or nail category preferred.Native or fluent in American EnglishStrong current knowledge of US culture and trendsPrior experience working in CPG in the US preferred3+ years of people management experience with a successful track record in developmentDeep understanding of the US beauty mass-tige landscape, including consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.History of translating data to meaningful market insightsA self-starter with a proactive attitude, capable of anticipating challenges and implementing solutions efficiently.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling brand narratives.Strong experience in managing social media platforms, content creation, and online community engagement.Highly detailed an
