As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for executing high-quality maintenance, repair, and installation services while ensuring strict adherence to safety and operational standards. You will play a key role in delivering efficient and effective field operations, supporting the team, and continuously improving processes to enhance service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Execution:
- Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks on composite components, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
- Follow work instructions and project plans to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Identify non-compliance issues and report them promptly to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including documentation of repairs and inspections with photographs and reports.
Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) protocols, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
- Conduct tasks in **high-risk environments**, including working at heights and using specialized access methods.
- Participate in safety briefings and contribute to maintaining a culture of safety awareness.
- Report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately and take proactive steps to mitigate risks.
Technical and Software Proficiency:
- Utilize **Office 365, LEADING EDGE**, and other relevant software tools for reporting, tracking, and communication.
- Follow digital workflows and documentation processes to maintain accurate data records.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in Field Services, integrating them into daily work.
Flexibility and Commitment:
- Work in shifts and adapt to changing operational demands, including extended hours or travel as required.
- Support multiple locations when needed, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in composite repairs, wind turbine maintenance, or field services.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, particularly for working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Technical knowledge of materials, repair techniques, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges effectively.
