Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and engineering review of PV and energy storage systems (CI, utility-scale)

• Supervise and coordinate external EPC contractors and internal engineers

• Manage technical documentation: drawings, single-line diagrams, component specs

• Support procurement in technical validation of components (PV panels, inverters, batteries, etc.)

• Ensure compliance with national and EU standards (CEI, IEC, GSE, ENEA)

• Conduct site assessments and provide input on project feasibility

• Oversee quality control and commissioning of systems

• Provide technical support to sales and project development teams

• Collaborate with HSE team to ensure technical safety compliance

• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in photovoltaic or renewable energy systems

• In-depth knowledge of:

• Solar PV system design and simulation tools (e.g. PV*SOL, PVSyst)
• Grid integration procedures (MT/BT)
• Inverters, batteries, SCADA/monitoring systems
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and ideally Revit, SCADA platforms
• Knowledge of relevant Italian and EU regulations (e.g. CEI 0-21, 0-16, GSE rules)
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
