Purpose of the role
This role is instrumental in enhancing the consumer experience, elevating brand visibility, and deepening product expertise across Direct-To-Consumer and Wholesale channels in South East Europe. By leading Visual Merchandising, Retail Space Management, and Product Training teams, it ensures consistent execution of global strategies at local level, maximizing brand impact, space, and profitability across all physical retail touchpoints in the cluster.
What you'll do
- Lead a cross-functional team of Visual Merchandising, Retail Space Management, and Product Training experts to elevate the adidas brand experience across Direct-To-Consumer and Wholesale channels.
- Drive implementation of Visual Merchandising campaigns and in-store presentation standards aligned with European calendars and local needs.
- Manage branded space negotiations and execute Retail Space Management installations in strategic wholesale doors.
- Oversee delivery of digital and in-person product training, aligning content with key product launches and commercial priorities.
- Monitor training and Visual Merchandising effectiveness through store visits and performance KPIs, reallocating resources when needed.
- Act as a key point of contact for Wholesale, Franchise, and Own Retail stakeholders regarding space, visibility, and consumer engagement.
- Collaborate with Sales, Brand Marketing, and Trade Marketing to ensure seamless execution across all physical retail environments.
- Manage assigned budgets and third-party agencies to ensure quality execution and brand consistency.
- Foster a high-performing team culture with clear goals, ongoing development, and cross-market collaboration.
- Regularly share local needs and best practices with the EU Omnichannel team to shape regional strategies.
Skills you'll need
- 3–5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, Retail, or Omnichannel roles, ideally across multiple countries.
- Strong team leadership experience, including remote and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English and at least one Southeast European language.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to translate global guidelines into local execution.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills across levels and departments.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel across SEE markets.
