Engineering ManagerUp to 90,000 DOERome Office, with 3 days a week in the officeA Pan European Independent Power Provider that operates, invests, and develops onshore renewable energy projects is looking for a key addition to their Italian team and centralized engineering function.The company is a leading pan-European IPP with a pipeline of over 16GW, present across 14 countries in Europe. As an IPP, they invest, develop, and operate assets, generating revenue through multiple streams, which enhances their stability and growth. Their main technologies include Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar PV, and onshore wind, with portfolios of around 8GW each for storage and solar, and an additional 680MW of wind.With approximately 8 years of market presence, they have gained strong investment from a major industry player. This backing, along with a strong team culture, has contributed to their success. Their mission is to be a long-term renewable energy partner, delivering sustainable solutions.The Italian arm has grown to 12 team members across legal, development, and engineering. This role is unique as it sits within this Italian team and the centralized engineering unit of the group. The Italian team is expanding, with several projects entering construction stages this year.The core responsibilities of this role include:Supporting early development stages from RTB to FC and operational phases.Assisting the project management team during construction.Leading technical assessments and managing technical advisors throughout the project lifecycle.Overseeing owners engineering and EPC contract technical appendices.Reviewing EPC contractor bids and ensuring compliance with owners engineering requirements.Candidates should have proven experience and skills in:Fluency in both Italian and English.Relevant technical experience in project engineering across the full lifecycle of utility-scale solar PV projects.
