Wisent is building layer-level AI control tools. We monitor and identify patterns inside the AI brain to drastically reduce hallucinations, improve their coding ability or make them able to acquire new capabilities with no need for training. We do this by pioneering a new branch of AI research called representation engineering. Here you can read more about the tech. We build various tools around this technology, including open-source LLM safeguards, B2C facing editable chatbot platform and B2B diagnostics platform. Your contributions will shape the future of the most important technology of our generation- large language models. Your Responsibilities Manage and scale EC2 instances in response to demand Develop solutions to lower the latency on the existing stack (e.G. by rewriting the stack from Python to C++) Improve the existing stack running on EC2 instances with open source models directly Create technical documentation for internal use and open-source usage Our Requirements Proficiency in Python, Celery, Redis, C++ or any other performant backend stack High familiarity with AWS Experience working with large scale servers Knowledge of best practices around server architecture Detailed understanding of the transformer architecture Rich github with history of contributions High ownership and can-do attitude Fast, intense, honest, eager to learn and not afraid of making mistakes Optional FAANG or fast-growing startup experience Ex-founder Proficiency with a better backend language than Python (C++, Go etc) iOS/Android mobile app experience Growth hacking experience (SEO optimization, Clay, cold outbound optimization) Eager to move to San Francisco (we can sponsor visas after the initial period of working remotely) Sounds cool?
