Security Architect:
Primary Purpose / Regulatory Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Security Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our projects and initiatives.
This Role Involves:
- Reviewing Security: Responsible for evaluating security aspects of various projects, initiatives, and requests raised by IT stakeholders. This includes assessing potential risks and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Leading Security Initiatives: Supporting and sometimes leading security initiatives and improvements within the organisation. This may involve developing new security protocols, enhancing existing security frameworks, or implementing new security technologies.
Major Responsibilities:
The Security Architect will be accountable for the following key tasks:
- Security Review: Evaluate security aspects of various projects, initiatives, and requests raised by IT stakeholders.
- Security Initiatives: Support and lead security initiatives and improvements within the organisation.
- Protocol Development: Develop new security protocols and enhance existing ones.
- Technology Implementation: Implement new security technologies to strengthen security measures.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM): Tools and practices for managing and improving cloud security.
- SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM): Tools and practices for managing and improving SaaS application security.
- Azure Security: Expertise in security practices and tools specific to Microsoft''s Azure cloud platform.
- Sonatype/JFrog: Experience with Sonatype/JFrog tools used for managing open-source components and ensuring security.
- IT or Security Degree or equivalent experience.
- Certification: Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are required.
