ABOUT THE ROLE TheGlobal Product Manager, Tools will support sales growth throughmarketing efforts, managing current solutions & developing newsolutions, implementing pricing strategies, portfolio lifecyclemanagement, and sales support. This role will be responsible forcreating the Tools product strategy and multigenerational productplan. The Global Product Manager will develop a deep understandingof the market including applications, competitors, and customerneeds. He/she will utilize that market knowledge to plot astrategy, identify growth opportunities, and become the championfor their product lines. The Global Product Manager will beaccountable for achieving annual revenue, growth, and profittargets. Key responsibilities & elements of the role include: -Deep understanding of market dynamics including competition,trends, new technologies & pricing to inform appropriatedecision making for the product line. - Ability to analyze largesets of data and interpret into actionable information that willguide portfolio management of current solutions as well asdevelopment of new offerings. - Work closely with customers andsales leaders to develop and articulate Tools product line valuepropositions. - Partner with sales & service leadership, sales,field admin, engineering, and finance in the new productdevelopment process - Develop and implement growth strategies basedon market needs to increase market share & profitability of theproduct line. - Drive portfolio lifecycle management with a strongemphasis on product line simplification. - Collaborate withmarketing operations to update and develop new collateral &tools linked product launches and/or updates. - Assist in producttraining materials and delivery leveraging the product, sales, andcommunication teams. - Understand competitive pricing &programs as well as those within adjacent industries. - Develop apricing strategy on new solutions as well as manage annual priceadjustments to grow portfolio revenue. - Support supply chain,sourcing and operations manage and improve product quality.Required Skills - Self-starter, comfortable dealing with abstractor ambiguous problems independently - Strong communication skills-Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate effectively witha wide array of functions. - Able to develop and communicatestrategy and a vision in a compelling manner~ influencing withoutdirect authority. - Experience managing change. - High level ofbusiness acumen and ability to spot market and business trends,pattern recognition, demonstrated history of delivering P&Lresults. - Cross-functional leadership ability to lead complexprojects involving global stakeholders across multiple functionsand regions. - Team player with excellent interpersonal skills -Data analysis ability to analyze data and recommend action basedon the information. - Good mechanical aptitudes to communicate withoperations and engineering. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel &PowerPoint, experience working in SAP desired. Required Experience- Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus. -Bachelor''s degree in business/marketing is desired,Marketing/Business/MBA is preferred. - 3 - 5 years of professionalwork experience, preferably with an emphasis in product management- Experience working with the cleaning industry. - Global businessexperience collaborating with international teams. - Willingness totravel domestically & internationally up to 20% of the time.- Successful track record for problem solving, idea generation andprogram execution.
