Category Manager - Waste Management, Robecco Sul NaviglioRobecco Sul Naviglio, ItalyRisorse Professional, a specialized recruitment and selection company for middle and senior management profiles, is seeking a Category Manager for a company within an international group leader in the environmental and circular economy sector.The candidate will mainly focus on purchasing and managing maintenance for vehicles (trucks/operational vehicles) and plants (recycling, biogas, etc.).ResponsibilitiesDefine procurement strategies for vehicles and maintenance, both routine and extraordinary, in collaboration with operations management.Analyze supplier markets and scout for new partners for spare parts, workshops, and maintenance services near sites.Negotiate purchase and maintenance contracts with machinery manufacturers, in collaboration with technical and operational teams.Negotiate purchase or rental contracts and related maintenance for vehicles.Negotiate framework agreements with workshops, dealerships, and spare parts suppliers.Define SLA (Service Level Agreement) and KPI to measure supplier performance.Apply Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles to evaluate not only purchase price but also total costs throughout the lifecycle of assets (maintenance, spare parts, operational efficiency, disposal, etc.).RequirementsSolid knowledge of procurement processes and/or category management.Advanced skills in data analysis and use of ERP tools (e.g., Excel, Zucchetti or similar).Deep understanding of the relevant market.Negotiation skills.Ability to formalize and document processes.Strong internal and external negotiation and interpersonal skills.Results-oriented mindset.Problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.Ability to manage cross-functional teams.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Degree in Economics or Management Engineering.At least 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or category management roles.Preferably experience in sectors related to the specific category.#J-18808-Ljbffr
