CLP members prepare for off-program placement in commercial roles by learning about GE Vernova''s markets, products, and customers, while also making significant contributions to the business.Job DescriptionWhat you''ll do :The GE Vernova Commercial Leadership Program (CLP) is a two-year program with four 6-month rotations. You will be part of the GE Vernova team, focusing on rotations in our Electrification Software business. Assignments will vary but will relate to commercial operations, including pricing, marketing, product sales, or other sales support functions. CLPs are expected to actively participate outside their main roles by leading or contributing to various projects, committees, and activities. You will leverage your problem-solving and people skills to bring solutions both internally and externally.Throughout the program, assignments will vary depending on business needs and the objectives of the off-program role. Responsibilities and experiences include:Gaining significant on-the-job experience through personalized rotation assignments within commercial functions, exposing you to different markets, products, and leaders.Receiving world-class training in sales leadership and business skills through an intensive curriculum of classroom, hands-on, and online training.Supporting the development of the overall business growth strategy by collaborating with the Commercial Team, including market analysis and sales growth planning.Working with Sales Managers to define sales strategies for targeted clients and analyzing core markets.Partnering with the Proposal team to develop proposals that meet customer and sales team requirements.Managing and negotiating commercial and contractual risks during the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process.Building and presenting Risk & Opportunities analyses and mitigation plans alongside Sales Managers.Supporting customer negotiations to ensure deals deliver shareholder value, contributing positively to sales orders and profitability.Participating in or delivering customer presentations.Receiving formal mentoring and coaching from senior management.What you''ll bring (Basic Qualifications) :Bachelor''s degree in engineering or a relevant science field (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or Computer Science).Academic excellence with a minimum 3.0 GPA out of 4.0 (without rounding) or equivalent.Prior internship, co-op, or relevant work experience (minimum 1-2 years post-university graduation), preferably in sales, sales support, or marketing within the energy industry.Strong interest in the energy sector.Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.Legal authorization to work in Italy; visa sponsorship is not available.What will make you stand out :Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Business acumen with the ability to motivate others.Where you will land in 2 years :Upon graduation from the GE Vernova Commercial Leadership Program, you are expected to join a Commercial team as an individual contributor within your area of specialization.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: NoKey SkillsAccommodation, Aircraft Operations, Corporate Risk Management, EMS, Law, Credit OperationsEmployment Type : Full-TimeExperience : 1-2 yearsVacancy : 1#J-18808-Ljbffr
