Senior Data Consultant Governance & Organisational Design

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Data Consultant (Medior/Senior level) to join our team in Brussels. This role requires a deep understanding of data governance, organisational dynamics, and business intelligence within large organisations. You will work closely with business stakeholders, facilitating interviews and workshops to uncover pain points and design data-centric solutions that align with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate interviews, workshops, and stakeholder sessions focused on business, organisational, and data governance topics.
- Design and implement data governance frameworks, including policies, processes, and stewardship models.
- Analyse existing BI/reporting environments and recommend improvements or transformations.
- Work with both technical and non-technical teams to synthesise findings and translate them into actionable blueprints and strategic roadmaps.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to embed governance principles into broader data strategies.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 812 years of professional experience in data consulting, data governance, or business intelligence roles.
- Proven ability to conduct interviews and lead workshops with stakeholders at various organisational levels.
- Demonstrated experience with data governance setups, including tool selection, operating model design, and change management.
- Familiarity with BI/reporting platforms and how they are used in large-scale enterprises.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to integrate findings into clear, strategic outputs (blueprints, models, or roadmaps).

- Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organisationally aware, with the ability to bridge gaps between business and technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
