* You will be involved in translating artwork/design into industrial packaging material that meets quality requirements and budgets.
* You are responsible for the evaluation of designs, print technical risk analyses, development and execution of a print development plan, and checking the final printed packaging material against color standards for all packaging materials for the regions Europe, North America, Australia, South Africa.
* You will contribute to structural improvements regarding print technical matters linked to packaging/designs.
* Our department works with approximately 70 printing companies, 7 (Strategic) design agencies, and a global repro company. Internally, you will work closely with departments such as Marketing, Activity Management, Logistics, and Packaging Development. Our Food department consists of two employees. The total Design Graphics department in Veghel comprises ~15 employees.
* You provide expert advice to internal and external parties and are involved in creating, formalizing, and monitoring the print development plan for packaging designs.
* You ensure efficient and timely implementation of packaging designs.
* You facilitate project and supplier evaluations and make recommendations for improvements.
* You have a higher professional education (HBO) level and at least two years of experience in a graphic environment.
* You have demonstrable knowledge of Offset and Flexo and/or Gravure printing techniques (For Flexo and/or Gravure techniques on flexible material - plastics).
* You can handle cultural differences due to the global role.
* You feel comfortable in contacts with senior management and external suppliers.
* You have an excellent command of English, and knowledge of another language is a plus.
* You have good communication skills (both oral and written), are customer-oriented, and can handle stress.
* You are both an independent person and a team player and enjoy working with others.
* You have demonstrable experience in project management.
* You are flexible to work outside regular working hours due to the global role
