WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design and implementation of IT solutions for Product Engineering as well as their interfaces with ERP (SAP) and other business applications. This role is critical in supporting and development of our product engineering processes and tools. The IT Specialist will work on projects such as new business line integration into new or existing IT systems, optimization of existing processes, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze existing requirements and design effective IT solutions that align with business objectives and user needs.
• Understand and resolve issues with engineering applications. Work closely with application maintenance providers to ensure optimal service and quickly address any problems.
• Oversee the sourcing process to identify and select high-quality solutions that meet the company''s needs.
• Oversee the procurement, allocation, and renewal of software licenses to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and optimize costs.
• Collaborate with various teams and departments to understand their needs, and translate them into IT solutions, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Govern the overall IT demand in Product Engineering area, prioritizing projects and initiatives based on strategic goals and resource availability.

EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience, preferably in a multinational environment
• Proven experience in designing and implementing IT solutions in product development area.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering systems like PLM/CAD (with a preference for Siemens solutions such as Teamcenter, Capital, Design Center, NX etc.)
• Project management skills, including budgeting and phase management ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
• Experience in managing application maintenance providers, and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of the vehicles industry or highly customized production (engineering to order).
• Languages: Italian fluent and English advanced.
