Our client is recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician/Building Service Engineer to join a specialist team servicing and maintaining smoke ventilation systems for prestigious clients across Dublin and beyond.This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician with a background in maintenance or FM (facilities management), looking for a field-based role with autonomy, trust, and career progression.The Opportunity• Full-time, permanent position based primarily around Dublin, with some travel across Ireland and occasional trips to the UK.• Mix of working solo or alongside another maintenance electrician/service engineer depending on project size.• Projects range from large-scale maintenance to multiple smaller jobs per day.What You'll Be Doing• Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on:o Smoke and day-to-day ventilation systemso Pneumatic smoke exhaust systemso Window actuator systemso Mechanical and natural smoke shaft systemso Smoke/fire curtainso Pressurization and car park extraction fan systemso Minor commissioning works (training provided on SHEV control panels).o Client-facing work across office blocks, apartment complexes, hospitals, pharma sites, and warehouses.What We're Looking For• Fully qualified Electrician (essential).• Full, clean driving licence (essential).• Previous facilities management experience in service and maintenance on electrical systems.• Strong, neat working practices, ideally in residential/domestic/commercial electrical environments.• Professional, people-focused attitude — you’ll be the face of the business on client sites.• Specialist training will be provided across different systems if required.Salary Benefits• €50,000–€60,000 per annum• Paid Travel Time• Company Vehicle• Equipment Provided including laptop, phone, tablet• Early-finish Fridays• Employee Assistance Programme• Wellbeing health checks• Career development opportunities• Regular social events• Management Style: Supportive and trusting management styleWorking Hours:• 8:30am–4:30pm Monday–Thursday, early finish Fridays!Why Join?If you’re a Facilities Maintenance Electrician/Building Services Engineer looking to join a growing, highly respected team where you’ll have autonomy, professional development, and a brilliant work/life balance — this could be the perfect move for you.
