Our 17,000+ employees across 34 countries are committed to bridging prosperity with sustainability for a lasting world.About the opportunity:The role and responsibilities include:Review Client''s technical documentation and requirements.Control of subcontracted discipline engineering documents.Define engineering requirements.Support detail engineering activities (layouts, routings, supports, sizing of CVs).Prepare specifications/datasheets for field instruments and evaluate technical bids.Prepare general job and supply specifications for field instruments.Check supplier drawings and vendor project documentation.Provide technical support to the Project group.Optimize field instrument selection for cost and performance.Implement instrument detail design on P&ID''s.Manage changes effectively.Interface with other engineering disciplines and communicate effectively.Participate in technical negotiations for instrumentation selection.Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).Adhere to company/project standards, procedures, and specifications.Key interactions include internal collaboration with civil works, other disciplines'' specialists, and project teams, as well as external engagement with suppliers and clients.Starting Date: June 2025About you:We welcome your application if you meet the following requirements:Qualification: Automation and/or Mechanical EngineeringLanguages: Fluent in Italian and EnglishMain skills and requirements include:Knowledge and experience in the oil and gas industry is a plusExperience with automatic valves for industrial applications (control and on-off valves) is a plusKnowledge of European ATEX/SIL regulations is a plusGrowth mindset and continuous improvement approachProblem-solving attitudeGood presentation and communication skills at all levelsAttention to detail and ability to complete tasks on time with high quality standardsAbility to work internationally and willingness for short/long abroad missionsEffective team collaboration in a multicultural environmentIT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), knowledge of SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation)Your career with us:Working at Technip Energies offers inspiring projects, diverse collaborations, and a respectful environment where innovation is encouraged.
