We are driven by values such as respect, determination, legacy, engagement, and sustainability.Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history, involving 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities over an area of 22,000 square km. The Organizing Committee was established in 2019 to ensure compliance with the Host City Contract signed by the IOC, Milano, Cortina, and CONI, with support from various regional and national partners.PositionThe successful candidate will support the Sustainability & Impact Area and other involved FAs in activities such as:Monitoring the implementation of the GEDI Assessment Tool (Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) and supporting related functions.Ensuring activities comply with the Olympic Host Contract and Master Schedule, focusing on human rights, diversity, gender equality, inclusion, and safeguarding.Supporting initiatives to reduce human rights risks, including health and safety, environment, safeguarding, and labor issues.Participating in training and communication on Human Rights.Assisting with the Due Diligence process in risky supply chains.Supporting actions for employment and inclusion of people with disabilities under Italian Law No. 68/99.Helping implement the grievance mechanism for human rights violations during Games, promoting awareness among target groups.Monitoring and reporting on human rights, gender equality, inclusion, and safeguarding performance.Contributing to sustainability reporting and measuring the Games positive impact.Supporting the Olympic Truce Program.Implementation of Games Plan Activities (20%)Monitoring the Master Schedule for human rights.Overseeing the Due Diligence process.Monitoring GEDI Assessment Tool implementation.Conducting training and communication during the Games.Implementation of Games Plan Activities (80%)Supporting procedures for reporting and managing human rights violations during the Games.RequirementsA degree in humanities and/or law.Experience in a human rights approach, preferably in sports (e.g., safeguarding, grievance mechanisms).Knowledge of Italian legislation related to human rights, gender equality, diversity, and inclusion, especially in sports.Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Smartsheet (preferred).Fluent in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong project management skills, especially in Human Rights and DE&I areas.Effective team collaboration skills.Excellent communication skills for clear, concise presentations.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, capable of addressing complex issues swiftly and thoroughly.#J-18808-Ljbffr
