They provide their expertise in constructionto ensure the proper execution of various projects. They play atechnical expert role during the project study phase and willoversee the site during project execution. They supervise the sitesand ensure that safety standards are met. Your Responsibilities: -Assume overall responsibility for monitoring and organizingconstruction and demolition activities related to the project. -Ensure the preparation and updating of a comprehensive constructionand demolition plan that coordinates all construction anddemolition activities of the project. - Provide managementresources, as needed, throughout the construction and demolitionphases to ensure coordination of activities and adherence to agreedmilestones. - Ensure that designers, contractors, and other teammembers are competent in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) andduly prequalified. - Ensure that the construction manager(contractors) executes the project safely, in accordance with localregulations and company requirements. - Agree on EHSresponsibilities and accountability obligations for theconstruction of the project with the site EHS manager. - Encourageand support an EHS culture that aligns with the company''s values. -Draft the initial Construction Safety Plan (CSP) to inform theconstruction manager (contractors). - Ensure that all workersreceive site-specific construction orientation related to theproject. - Ensure that the construction safety plan is regularlyreviewed and updated by the construction manager. - Implement aperformance assurance process for EHS through an audit,observation, and interaction program. - Ensure that theconstruction manager (contractors) implements a proactive EHSprogram that encourages recognition. Your Profile: - You hold aMaster''s degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering (construction,EHS, etc.). - You have experience in project management (Capex andnon-Capex) as well as a technical background (construction, HVAC,facilities, utilities, clean and black piping, EHS, etc.). - Youhave experience in managing construction sites in thepharmaceutical, chemical, nuclear, or food industries. - You arecapable of establishing and maintaining a genuine partnershipwithin teams and across different departments. - You can managevarious stakeholders related to the project. - You have excellentadaptability skills for different audiences (from workers to seniorexecutives). - You possess excellent change control coordinationskills. - You are PMP and/or Prince2 certified. - You are fluent inFrench and English.
