Responsibilities:
System Validation:
- Lead the validation of computerized systems, focusing on OSIsoft PI and DCS (PCS 7).
- Develop comprehensive validation protocols, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).
- Ensure all validation activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of validation processes, results, and any deviations.
System Integration:
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and production teams to integrate MES with existing systems.
- Design and implement interfaces between MES and other systems to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide technical support to resolve them efficiently.
Project Management:
- Manage MES-related projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Develop project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and milestone tracking.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or changes promptly.
Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Implement best practices to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions.
Hard Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with MES, OSIsoft PI, and DCS (PCS 7) systems.
- In-depth knowledge of computerized system validation processes and methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, such as GMP and FDA guidelines.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in planning, executing, and monitoring projects.
- Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive, flexible approach and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
