Senior VAT Officer - Responsibilities
- Actively communicating with clients and tax authorities to manage VAT-related matters.
- Handling VAT returns for a diversified client base including investment funds (notably PE/RE), management companies, banks, Soparfis, and industrial/commercial firms.
- Assisting in VAT advisory projects and due diligence assignments.
- Benefiting from continuous training and mentorship from seasoned professionals to accelerate your expertise in VAT.
Senior VAT Officer - Your Profile:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Luxembourg VAT/Indirect Tax compliance.
- A solid understanding of Luxembourgish and European VAT regulations.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing VAT returns, ideally in financial services, PE/RE, or industrial sectors.
- Strong numerical skills and analytical capabilities.
- Attention to detail and a rigorous work approach.
- A degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a specialization in Taxation.
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a strong plus.
- A client-oriented mindset and confidence in handling client relationships.
Senior VAT Officer - We offer:
- A salary of up to 70,000 gross spread over 13 months.
