Your roleConduct research projects on new products such as components, equipment, systems, and processes through mechanical studies and evaluations.Identify technical solutions to specific problems.Carry out product development projects at various stages (feasibility studies, cost assessments, product design, prototypes, testing, etc.).Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and other R&D functions for project development and activities.Conduct internal and external product benchmarking and support the management of technical documentation.Verify or validate product conformity with standards and customer specifications.Your knowledge and experienceDegree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Physics, Energy) or Physics, with proven experience in mechanical design.Experience in standardization projects, materials (metallurgy, compounds, thermal ratings), and technology (product, machinery, and process).Exposure to testing (magnetism, electrical, mechanical), design to cost, product development, and innovation.Experience with CAD tools or FEM analysis is a plus.Proficient in English.Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
