Were headquartered in Palma, Mallorca and employ around 3,500 people worldwide.JOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Lawyer with extensive experience in handling complex legal disputes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of contract law, liabilities, indemnities, and the legal implications of breaches and unfulfillments. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate strong critical thinking, procedural strategy, and expertise in the burden of proof and procedural technique.This role is to provide support in the corporate legal area, making sure that the group is compliant with local corporate requirements and serves as liaison to the Finance, HR, Tax and Accounting teams for questions relating to the drafting of intragroup agreements, approval of annual accounts and review of financing agreements, facilitating the operative of the corporate entities individually and as a group.This role is also responsible for reviewing drafted documents, liaising with directors, external advisers, and local offices across the globe to gather input, signatures and finalize documentation.Coordinate external company secretarial advisors and external lawyers.Responsibilities:Providing company secretarial: Support of the finance function with the approval of the annual financial statements of all entities of the group so local compliance requirements are met in each jurisdiction where the group is present and work on UBO filings.Drafting and review of legal documentation, board minutes, power of attorneys, intercompany contracts and loans, share certificates/registersOversee correct maintenance corporate books.Review of finance and corporate treasury contractsWork collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams including operations, business, finance, tax, legal, accounting, and compliance to achieve the best possible outcome for the company.Daily communication with external advisors. Support internal departments needs by actively an effectively managing outside counsel and other external resources. Assisting in filling out KYC requirements and gathering signatures for the documentsGeneral administration, organization of company secretarial data (Blueprint/Diligent Companies), saving in internal folders, preparing spreadsheets, booking couriers, getting signatures on documents. Contracting notary, courrier and translation servicesSkillsFamiliarity with working methods in large organizations.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Strong synthesis capacity to distill complex information.Accountability for terms and priorities.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to communicate in English at all levelsMinimum 3-4 years experience in litigation and/or dispute resolution methods in large law firm.QualificationsMust be a practicing member of the Bar Association for at least 3-4 years.At HBX Group, we believe that diversity drivesinnovation and makestravel a force for good.
