Starlight is developing a pipeline of renewable energy assets in Italy, including solar PV, batteries, and wind projects, with a total capacity exceeding 3GWp. The VP of Business Development will lead the development of a segment of this pipeline, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders, and will also be responsible for expanding the pipeline through new business opportunities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage and oversee development activities for a portion of the pipeline, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.Coordinate with external parties involved in project development to achieve ready-to-build status.Identify and pursue new initiatives to grow the pipeline in Italy.Support internal teams in managing relationships with landowners, authorities, and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.Collaborate with internal divisions and the NextEnergy Group to align project development with market standards and strategic objectives.Analyze market and regulatory frameworks, participating in stakeholder events to anticipate political and regulatory changes.Represent the assets in front of external authorities, potentially serving as Director in the SPVs.SKILLS & COMPETENCIESEntrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving skills.Strong project management capabilities.Ability to structure and manage complex, overlapping processes involving multiple parties.Proactive delivery focus with high-quality output.Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English, written and verbal.Effective time management and prioritization.Flexibility and adaptability to new challenges.Intellectual curiosity about the renewable energy sector.Proficiency with IT systems, especially MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Passion for sustainability and alignment with group values.EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy project development.Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Engineering, Environmental Science).Experience collaborating with developers, financial advisors, or infrastructure funds is advantageous.Knowledge of local market dynamics, regulations, and contracts.WHAT WE OFFERFull-time permanent position within a supportive, international team.Opportunities for professional growth across nearly 10 countries.HOW TO APPLYInterested candidates should follow the application procedures outlined by the company.DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIONNextEnergy Group values diversity and inclusion, fostering a culture of openness, innovation, and boldness, aligned with our core values.#J-18808-Ljbffr
