Why We Need You
Were building the next generation of Perifit products smarter, smaller, and even more empowering. Were looking for a Senior Electronic Engineer to lead the electrical design of our low-power, connected, and sensor-rich devices.
Youll play a central role in designing, validating, and industrializing electronic systems for both existing products and brand new developments. Youll work closely with our firmware, mechanical, and industrialization teams and take full ownership of the electronics domain, from early prototypes to mass production.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead the electronics design of new and existing Perifit products including our next-generation wearable breast pump and pelvic trainers.
- Own schematics, layout, and BOM optimization for low-power, battery-operated, Bluetooth-connected devices.
- Design and validate circuits for signal acquisition, BLE communication, motor control, and sensor interfaces focusing on ultra-low current and low-voltage performance.
- Build and test functional prototypes to evaluate signal integrity, noise, and power consumption.
- Perform initial firmware work (bare-metal or with SDKs) to validate hardware performance and integration.
- Collaborate with mechanical and firmware engineers to ensure optimal component placement, enclosure integration, and system-level reliability.
- Manage relationships with PCBA suppliers and EMS partners including DFM review, factory communication, and occasional travel to China.
- Support Customer Service and Quality teams by investigating technical issues reported by users, identifying root causes, and contributing to product improvements.
- Support EMC/CE/FCC pre-compliance and certification testing.
What Hard Skills We Need to See
- Electronics Design Expertise : Strong skills in schematic capture and PCB layout using tools like Altium, KiCad, or similar. Proven experience in low-power system design and wireless devices.
- Power and Signal Proficiency : Solid knowledge of battery-powered electronics , motor drivers , signal conditioning , and ultra-low-current digital circuits .
- BLE and Wireless : Familiarity with BLE modules , RF layout basics, antenna integration, and debugging wireless performance.
- Prototyping & Debugging : Experience bringing up new boards, running basic firmware tests, debugging hardware issues with scopes, analyzers, and test jigs.
- Manufacturing and DFM : Comfortable working with overseas PCBA suppliers to ensure production-quality builds and scalable, testable designs.
- Documentation & Certification : Ability to create thorough documentation and contribute to product compliance efforts (EMC/CE/FCC).
