**MAIN JOB PURPOSE**:Ensures that service levels are maintained at the required standards by carrying out all breakdown, preventative and predictive maintenance effectively.**JOB SUMMARY**:Machine installation including leveling and alignmentFaultfinding and problem solving on Packaging and manufacturing machineryCarrying out size change-overs and settings on Packaging machinesIdentify deviations and non-conforming items on Packaging equipmentAssess exactly what steps to take to rectify the root cause of these deviations and non-conformancesComplete work to an exceptional standard as well as identify any further potential problems that might be visibleInvolved in WCM/ TPM activities. Works within defined Engineering and SHE Policies and StandardsDiagnoses and interprets problems (fault finding) to optimize production output and with own team carries out the plant repairs. Responsible for focus improvements and breakdowns within unit of responsibilityManage reduction of breakdowns in his area of responsibility by analysing breakdowns, complying with the PPM requirement and implementing Continuous improvementsParticipates in strategic engineering plans to deliver maintenance and breakdown reduction benefits (RCM)Draws up, Coaches and develops engineering skills to other maintenance and operational staff using OPL and SOPs**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:N3MechanicalAND Trade Test Fitter & Turner/ Fitter3 years Fitter & Turner experience in FMCG and ManufacturingTurning and milling (machining) to manufacture basic components in-houseArc and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas/ Gas Tungsten Arc) weldingExtensive conveyor system experience in warehouse environment will be an advantage**CLOSING DATE**:Monday, 29thMay 2017**ONLINE ASSESSMENT**:**Please note**: as part of the job application, you will be asked to complete an online assessment.
