As a Field Service Engineer, you are the face of the organization at the customer''s location. You are never in the same place and every day is different. You install, maintain and repair, see opportunities and provide optimal service to the customer. You are responsible for the work within the Benelux, with a focus on the Netherlands. Your team in the Benelux consists of 17 technical colleagues and you report to the Service Manager Benelux.
What does your day look like?
- You are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of high-end medical equipment.
- In addition, you provide the customer with explanations and training on first-line support for such instruments.
- You have an eye for new needs among existing customers for maximum customer satisfaction.
- You manage your administration, measuring tools, test equipment and technical documentation and are involved in the construction of any conferences.
- You link instruments to the hospital network.
What do we expect from you?
- You have a higher technical diploma or equivalent experience, in the direction of electronics/precision mechanics with an affinity for optics. In addition, an affinity with automation is necessary.
- You are creative and think in total solutions for our customers.
- This is a responsible position in the medical sector where you sometimes must work under pressure. We assume that you are stress-resistant and flexible.
- In order to speak to customers well, you speak Dutch and English, knowledge of German is a plus.
- Driving is part of the position. A driving license B is a strict requirement.
