Social network you want to login/join with: Client: important multinational leader in its reference sector Job Purpose: The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing quality systems for internal manufacturing processes; improve supplier processes; act as a customersupport contact; as well as support the Quality labs in day-to-day engineering support activities for solving manufacturing problems. Collaborate with customers quality and engineering personnel to determine critical part features and review manufacturability of design. Make recommendations to modify customer part specifications and tolerances as necessary to support cost effective production; Provide engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques; Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerances, and materials related issues; Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, and providing resources; Develop and submit PPAPdocuments for new product launches to meet customer requirements; Recommend changesto processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness; Participate in the Advanced Product Quality Planning activities to determine appropriate use of existing and new measurement systems during new tool or process design and startup; Collaborate with Product Design and Process Engineering to develop D/P-FMEA; On the base of P-FMEA action plan and programs to validate production processes, interact with Process Engineering to ensure all verifications are done and show product compliance to internal and customer requirements; Maintain Control Plans and FMEA's throughout the life of the part; Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action; Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing; 2 to 4 years of experience in manufacturing environment (automotive). Tier1 or Tier2 automotive supplier is a strong plus; Knowledge of APQPand PPAP, statistical methods and international quality standards; Ability to interpret technical drawings and regulations; Familiarity with total quality concepts, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 procedures Quality plans, SPC, FMEA, PPAP experience Continuous improvement and Lean Techniques knowledge J-18808-Ljbffr
