We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer with a strong background in IT and presales consulting to join our team. This role focuses on crafting technical proposals for Infrastructure services aimed at International Organizations (e.g., European Commission, European Parliament, EU Agencies). The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing high-quality, technically sound, and client-centric proposals . You will collaborate closely with IT technical teams , particularly those in Infrastructure Services , to gather and synthesize the necessary technical information for each tender, ensuring alignment with client requirements and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Infrastructure Services unit offerings , including IT governance, data center operations, network services, cloud migration, digital operations, AIOps, and digital workplace solutions.
- Prepare high-quality, compliant responses to technical questions in International Organizations'' public tenders , including: writing technical specifications (both functional and non-functional), defining governance and operational models for services , including roles and responsibilities, and define quality management practices for projects and services , collaborating with Infrastructure technical and management teams to ensure the accuracy of the information provided.
- Identify and apply relevant infrastructure best practices to proposals.
- Standardize technical information from various teams to ensure consistency throughout the proposal.
- Ensure proposals directly address client questions and objectives , presenting clear, tailored solutions that add value.
- Maintain high standards for proposal quality , ensuring compliance with EU public tender guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders , including senior leadership, to align proposal strategies with business objectives.
- Effectively manage timelines to ensure timely submission of all proposals.
- Act as a presales consultant, engaging with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how our IT solutions can meet their requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Full proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Proficiency in Spanish at B2 or C1 level is highly valued.
- Proven experience in writing IT proposals , preferably within the EU public administration sector.
- Strong understanding of EU tendering processes and requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Familiarity with IT Infrastructure, particularly in Cloud, Automation, AI/ML, and Digital Operations.
- Experience in the Infrastructure Services sector or a related industry is preferred.
- Experience in presales consulting, with the ability to engage with clients and present IT solutions effectively.
