Social network you want to login/join with:Operational Survey Coordinator LeadLead the survey team on survey operations related to engineering and construction projects, overseeing construction sites with responsibilities including:Analyzing survey data and providing professional advice on processing and interpretation within the Marine Operations department.Coordinating the mobilization and calibration of survey navigation solutions.Supporting the Installation Department in creating pre-lay survey plans, budgets, and execution strategies.Managing the operation of navigation survey equipment and software on Prysmian vessels and Vessels of Opportunity.Proactively monitor offshore operations and visit sites as needed.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop hydrographic survey methodologies for nearshore and offshore cable installation.Conduct jobsite reconnaissance prior to installation operations.Analyze and benchmark survey geodetics and control parameters.Manage survey procedures, including mobilisation, calibration, and operational procedures.Coordinate vessel and subsea vehicle mobilizations/demobilizations.Test and calibrate all survey sensors onshore and offshore, including dimensional control surveys.Oversee survey equipment testing, inspection, maintenance, and repair.Ensure quality control of survey data and reports during and after installation.Manage survey team personnel, including selection, cost control, and resource allocation.Promote HSEQ activities to ensure compliance.Collaborate with installation managers on engineering and cost control.Manage subcontractors for survey equipment and personnel.Support business development during tender pre-qualification.Oversee project support from inception to delivery, documenting lessons learned.Present operational updates to clients and industry seminars.Maintain and improve technical procedures and assets.Note: Duties are not exhaustive; additional responsibilities may be assigned. The role requires significant international travel.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors and Masters Degree in Hydrographic Surveying with Category A accreditation.Extensive management and project management experience.Deep knowledge of hydrographic survey discipline and equipment.Proficiency with geographical software including GIS, CAD, and survey-specific tools.Minimum Experience:At least 5 years in a senior survey management role, delivering industry projects.Substantial offshore experience in operations management and cable installation.Expertise in satellite, surface, and subsea positioning solutions, including error analysis.Practical experience with ships, subsea, and navigation survey systems.Strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and offshore project support success.Experience with submarine power cables, health, safety, and environmental standards.Proven man-management skills in a technical offshore environment, especially in cable laying and subsea construction.Your application data will be treated according to our Data Protection Policy.
