We are seeking a highly motivated and analyticalindividual to join our team as an Associate / Vice President. Thisrole is part of our newly established presence in Milan and plays acritical role in covering all French-speaking regions within EMEA,with the possibility of expanding to additional geographiesdepending on the candidates background. The candidate will havefull responsibility for specific accounts, as well as sharedresponsibility for selected accounts that require deeper knowledgeand experience. Furthermore, the candidate will occasionallyconduct market research and prepare marketing materials. Key Responsibilities Fundraising: - Prospecting byemail and telephone to potential clients autonomously while seekingsenior support when dealing with prospects with advanced needs andrequirements, such as large institutional investors. - Supportingthe partners in the preparation and follow-up of investor meetings.- Planning roadshows and coordinating fundraising activities. -Coordinating and following up on inquiries with the GeneralPartners (GPs). Market Research: - Conducting market analyses toidentify trends and opportunities. - Expanding the firms reach byidentifying potential investors. - Performing market research toidentify potential managers who meet the investment needs of ourcontacts. Management of Fundraising Campaigns: - Maintaining andupdating the investor database. - Contributing to the furtherdevelopment of internal processes to increase efficiency. -Tracking interactions with potential investors and GPs. -Supporting the development and maintenance of relationships withinvestors and GPs. Marketing and Due Diligence: - Assisting in thepreparation of marketing materials, both for the firm itself andfor GPs. - Supporting GPs during due diligence processes withpotential investors. - Organizing and coordinating conferenceattendances for the partners and GPs, as well as attendingconferences independently. Qualifications - Bachelors degree inBusiness Administration, Finance, or a related field. Additionalcertifications such as CFA or CAIA are considered a plus. - Atleast 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales, sales development,or capital formation in the finance industry, gained at an assetmanager, placement agent, or in similar roles. - Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Strongorganizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills. - Extended willingness to travelextensively across regions in EMEA, especially withinItalian-speaking regions and an additional region depending on thecandidate''s background. This includes regular travel to ourheadquarters in Frankfurt, initially monthly and later lessfrequently. - Ability to handle sensitive information with thehighest level of confidentiality. - Proactive approach toproblem-solving and the ability to work independently. - Stronginterpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part ofa team. - Native-level proficiency in Italian, with fluency inEnglish. Additional European languages, especially Spanish, wouldbe a strong plus.
