Job Description SummaryResponsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement, and tools for the project management function. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness, etc.).Job DescriptionThe Project Cost Analyst (m/f/d) will be responsible for driving cross-functional cost reviews from budget at handover through completion of a new unit project. Responsibilities include:Cost trackingDevelopment of cost execution plans (e.g., cost curves) by functionsRun weekly and monthly detailed cost reports by project scopeMonitor budget line items weekly and escalate variances above thresholdsMaintain budget version control for updates in forecastsEstimate Cost to Complete with budget ownersCoordinate with scheduler to align project schedule with cost curvesSupport Bill of Quantity (BOQ) quantity trackingPrepare for PMR reviews quarterly/bi-annuallyMonitor/track CTC spend/releaseProvide feedback for future bids/budgetsMinimize leakage and protect project margin by:Running risk & opportunity analysesMonitoring project risks and following up on action plansConducting ad-hoc analyses on estimating headwindsIdentifying root causes of cost overruns and suggesting mitigation plansPartnering cross-functionally to execute mitigation strategiesChange order & claim analysis support includes:Coordinating functional estimates for change ordersTracking variance of approved change ordersProcess management & setup involves:Supporting creation & implementation of new cost controlling mechanismsExecuting process improvement actionsIdentifying operational rhythms and coordinating alignmentRequired QualificationsExperience in Power/Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, or Construction industriesBachelor''s degree in engineering, finance, or related technical field or equivalent experienceProven experience in Cost Management, Project Management, or EngineeringFluency in EnglishEligibility QualificationsLegally authorized to work in EuropeDesired CharacteristicsDetailed cost analytics experienceCollaboration with engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, projects, logisticsStrong analytical, inclusiveness, collaboration, and organizational skillsRoot cause analysis and mitigation experienceFinancial experienceAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesExcellent communication and influencing skillsHigh say/do ratioInterpersonal skillsAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No#J-18808-Ljbffr
