Here, a team of 200 engineers design and build medical devices for many of the worlds largest pharmaceutical and medical technology companies.In every pharmacy, hospital, and healthcare clinic throughout the world, you will find products that Flex helps to develop for clients in the medical segment.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, were looking to add a Senior PCB Layout Engineer located in Milan.The candidate will be responsible for the design, layout, and library parts management of medical printed circuit boards.What a typical day looks like:Fully own designs from initial specifications through to completionGenerate complete documentation for manufacturability, including Gerber files, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and all supporting documentationWork closely with other functional groups (including product design, electrical engineering, and operations) to define and execute design methodologyImplement design standards, including DFM and DFT, to satisfy manufacturing requirementsProvide library support, with a full understanding of parts creation, pad stacks, required spacing, and clearancesParticipate in design reviewsThe experience were looking to add to our team:Graduate in Electrical Engineering (MS degree)A minimum of 3 years PCB design experience with comprehensive knowledge of design requirements related to electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing aspectsProficiency in Altium DesignerExperience with Orcad Capture CIS and Cadence Allegro is a plusExperience with PCB stack-up concerning impedance, cross-coupling, and capacitanceAbility to manually route multi-layer printed circuit boards with analog circuitryKnowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and design requirements for board fabrication and assemblyFluency in spoken and written EnglishWillingness to travel abroad for short periodsGood team playerOpen to learningWhat youll receive for the great work you provide:Interesting projectsInternational clients, including major pharmaceutical companiesVaried tasksHybrid working environmentFlexible working hoursDevelopment opportunities and career pathwaysModern, professional work environmentVZ74Job Category: Design, Process & Technology EngineeringJob Summary:Our Milan campus is part of the Flex Health Solutions segment.
