Family owned and run, weshare family values; we care about you, each other and what we do.Position Summary: As a key member of the Global Transport Teamreporting to the Transport Business Manager - Europe and EmergingMarkets, the Business Development Executive will be responsible forBusiness Development and the profitability of the key accountbusiness and projects across Italy. Within the current organisationstructure there is also a requirement to respond to leads andenquiries from the French market, and support within other WesternEuropean markets as needed: - Develop and implement a strategicdirection and expand all our bus and coach business opportunities.- Has a profile in the regional bus industry that is positive andpositively promotes Clients brand through association. - Supportfor Bus Operators, OEMs and other customers in the relevant sector.- Integrate and collaborate with European and Global commercialteam colleagues to focus the global transport business as a wholeand provide strategic input. - Participation in the development ofnew products. - Increase in sales and net profitability ofidentified strategic customers and markets. Developingrelationships by working with internal and externalcross-functional teams as part of the KAM approach. KeyResponsibilities: - Planning and implementation of strategic salesand marketing measures to maintain and expand customer contacts andobtain Bus and Coach specifications. - Establish and maintain deepreaching contacts throughout customer Key accounts within each keydepartment. - Promote Clients products and services and protectClients brand. - Establish new contacts with potential customers,end user operators be that private or local government municipalsand Bus Interior Designers. - Developing the sales of Value-AddedServices across key customers. - Targeted new customer acquisition,the qualification of incoming contacts, the maintenance of existingcustomer contacts and provide quality feedback. - Operational sales(product presentation, preparation of offers as well as control andcoordination of the sales process up to the conclusion of thecontract). - Active role in the development of acquisition conceptsand participation in trade fairs and other sales events. - Marketobservation and idea generation. - Analysis of customers accordingto development potential, trading margin, turnover and profitsituation. - Active support of the Voice of the Customerinitiative. - Preparation of detailed turnover and competitionanalysis. - Implementing agreements with customers, agents, anddistributors. - Work with the price agreements set by the GlobalTransport framework. - Management of customer projects andassociated orders with internal cross functions. - Further dutiesas deemed necessary by the CEEM Transport Business Manager. - Forthe avoidance of doubt, the functions performed by the employeelocated in Italy should be limited to auxiliary functions such assupport of sales activities, creating policies and strategies, anddoes not include the concluding of contracts. What We''re LookingFor: It is essential that the person has experience of workingwithin the Bus Industry in Italy. That they can leverage contactsfrom within the industry to make an immediate impact in the role.The person should be able to demonstrate an understanding of OEMand Operator sourcing processes with the aim to ensure Clientsproducts are specified in new vehicle designs Experience: Minimum 5years in sales working within the Bus industry within Italy,preferably in a direct sales role; knowledge and experience of theBus market in France preferred - Field sales experience - Extensivesales / key account management experience - Bid and ProjectManagement experience Skills: - Entrepreneurial spirit. -Negotiation & Influencing skills. - Computer literacy, withgood Microsoft application skills. - Able to communicate andpresent at all levels. - Effective networking skills Education:Degree in Business Management, International Business. Languages:Fluent in Italian and English, verbal and written.
