Our client is a global bank with a strong reputation and presence in the Belgian market through its well-established Corporate and Investment Banking division. Building on this robust foundation, the bank is launching a new Private Banking offering tailored to Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWI). This exciting initiative aims to deliver sophisticated wealth management solutions to leading entrepreneurs and business leaders of large enterprises in Belgium.
As a Private Banker UHNWI, you will play a pivotal role in the success of this newly Private Banking division in Belgium. You will leverage the banks extensive CIB network and capabilities to offer bespoke wealth management services to a discerning clientele. Your expertise in financial planning, investment strategy, and wealth structuring will enable you to meet the complex needs of UHNW clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and expand a portfolio of UHNWI clients, focusing on business leaders and entrepreneurs from large enterprises.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships by offering tailored solutions aligned with clients financial goals and business interests.
- Provide sophisticated financial planning, investment advice, and wealth structuring solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including CIB specialists, to deliver integrated services addressing both corporate and personal financial needs.
- Stay informed about economic trends, financial markets, and regulatory developments affecting wealth management in Belgium.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the specific challenges and opportunities faced by UHNW clients, particularly those linked to large enterprises.
- Ensure all activities comply with local and international regulatory standards, as well as the banks internal policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in Private Banking, with a strong focus on UHNW clients in Belgium and a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of wealth management challenges faced by sophisticated clients, particularly business leaders.
- Ability to leverage and integrate CIB capabilities to deliver holistic financial solutions.
- Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is essential.
- Strong understanding of the Belgian financial landscape, as well as global economic and investment trends.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
