Job Responsibilities* Oversee shift operators, ensure production plan adherence, and manage the manufacturing operation to produce ECTOS products with quality and ensure continuous supply, according to GMP and EHS requirements.* Maintain high standards of housekeeping.* Provide technical support and guidance across the production areas.* Ensure the completion of routine business processes, including:Completion of Batch PaperworkMaintenance and calibration of equipment, scheduled and completedTimely closure of Production OrdersUpdate and maintenance of SOPsProcess Monitoring (e.g., fill measures, yields, etc.) and trend identificationInvestigation of Production Order variances* Ensure sufficient resources are available to achieve the production plan, including staff, equipment, facilities, and documentation. Liaise with departments such as QA, QC, EHS, and Supply Chain regarding team activities or issues.* Assist with the preparation and management of the departmental budget.* Ensure completion of quality and EHS processes, including:Timely completion of QARs and Corrective/Preventive Actions using DMAIC approachCompletion of audit action itemsSubmission and completion of Change submissionsOperator Training and CertificationConsistent enforcement of GMP requirementsEnforcement of EHS standards and risk assessments* Manage team performance, including:Effective utilization and management of staffProviding feedback on operator performanceAssessing operator skills* Participate in compliance, improvement, or validation projects within the production area.* Foster teamwork, problem solving, goal attainment, and performance enhancement skills within the production team.* Drive operational improvements and reinforce visual management processes.* Complete performance reviews and recognition programs timely for direct reports.QualificationsEducation: Secondary high school diploma or bachelor''s degree (Chemistry preferred) or related discipline.Experience: Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing operations with ability to execute operational plans and resolve complex technical issues.Core Competencies:Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsGood knowledge of EnglishCreativity and leadership capabilitiesAbility to manage change and promote innovationCommitment to Product Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Operational ExcellenceAlignment with Zoetis Core BeliefsAbility to interact positively with senior management and related groupsExperience with domestic and international regulatory agenciesDesired Skills and ExperienceTo manage routine manufacturing operations of the ECTOS production (Formulation, Filling & Packaging) to ensure timely, cost-effective, high-quality product manufacture, complying with GMP, EHS, and regulatory guidelines.About ZoetisAt Zoetis, our purpose is to nurture the world and humankind by advancing care for animals.
