Our name is synonymous with Swiss quality and state-of-the-art products.With more than 1300 employees worldwide, we are committed to supporting our customers locally with approved products, a robust supply chain, and excellent customer service.Secheron Hasler Italia is seeking a dynamic and motivated System Engineer to join our team in Verona, where the selected candidate will develop their activities.The ideal candidate is a technician involved in customer projects, supporting other technicians with technical issues and tools, providing expertise and advice to clients, writing technical documentation, configuring systems, performing functional tests, and operating Secheron Hasler products on trains. The role also involves training customers and internal staff.Depending on the fulfillment of the requirements, the candidate may be classified as a Junior or Senior System Engineer.Responsibilities and Key Tasks:Requirements management for creating System SpecificationsGenerating and managing technical project documentation and deliverablesCreating configurations for onboard electronic products such as event recorders, energy meters, and gatewaysSpecifying and executing system tests according to project requirementsEnsuring correct configuration control of hardware and softwareDeveloping PLC-based applications for certain products (if required)Serving as a technical interface with customers and internal teamsSupporting other engineers and assisting customers with technical questions and problemsPerforming commissioning and training mainly in EuropeDefining test equipment and tooling requirements and ensuring their availabilitySupporting R&D in validating new hardware and software solutionsAssisting product management with standardized solutions involving third-party componentsRequirements:University degree in a technical field such as IT/OTMinimum 5 years of experience (for senior level)Ability to prioritize, organize activities, and maintain project schedulesExperience with railway projects, especially safety development, is advantageousAbility to identify project risks and opportunitiesEnjoyment of working independently and as part of a teamFluent in Italian and English; knowledge of German is a plusPreferred Qualifications:Good knowledge of railway standards EN50126, EN50155, EN50463Knowledge of security standards IEC62443-4 and ISO27001Proficiency in French (spoken and written)We empower our employees with full responsibility for their tasks, encourage initiative, and support personal and professional growth.
