We are partnering with a Geneva-based Private Bank to recruit a Desk Head CH Onshore / Europe to lead and develop a strategic desk covering Swiss and European markets.
This is a key leadership role that combines direct commercial responsibility, team management, and strategic contribution at executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee a desk servicing UHNW clients across Switzerland and key European markets (France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Monaco, Spain, Portugal)
- Manage and develop an existing UHNW client portfolio while driving new client acquisition
- Build, structure, and mentor a team of Relationship Managers (existing and/or to be hired)
- Play an active role in the banks commercial strategy and participate in executive-level discussions
- Drive the recruitment, performance management, and motivation of the team to achieve individual and collective objectives
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (compliance, credit, investments, structuring) to deliver tailored client solutions
Your Profile:
- Senior Private Banker with an active network in Switzerland and/or Europe
- Proven experience as Deputy Desk Head, Team Leader, or in a similar senior management capacity
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team while maintaining direct client responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory and wealth planning matters relevant to Swiss and European UHNW clients
- Entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset, with a focus on delivering long-term value to clients
- Fluent in French and English; additional languages (German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese) are a plus
- Swiss residency
