Manager, Energy Infrastructure Exports, DBT Miejsce pracy: Warszawa Your responsibilities Main purpose of job: to help UK companies succeed in accessing high value business opportunities and mitigating market access barriers in Clean Tech Smart City industries in Poland as part of UK Department for Business Trades team in Warsaw. What will you be expected to achieve: Identifying opportunities for UK companies as well as market barriers in clean tech, renewables smart cities sectors in Poland and the region; Matching the UK offering to local market opportunity to help optimise UK business development in Poland and the region; Promoting opportunitiesin Poland to British companies and relevant business organisations and promoting UK capabilities in renewables, clean tech, smart cities to relevant Polish stakeholders; Establishing and maintaining relations with relevant external stakeholders, i.E. business, government industry. Our requirements BA degree or higher in a related field. Proven track record of success in business development and delivering against targets. Strong sense of personal responsibility and ability to assess and initiate activities independently. Full professional proficiency in Polish and English, including excellent writing skills as well as experience in drafting engaging speeches, articles and other forms. Ability to apply different styles of communication and tailor messaging for different audiences. Experience in organising successful events for senior stakeholders. Experience in managing projects and budgets. Ability to operate in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. Strong IT skills in MS Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint. Optional Knowledge and experience in energy and/or transport infrastructure sector. Experience in working with social media and other digital media and producing impactful content. What we offer Full-time position for 5 days (37.5 hours net) per week. Fixed-term contract for 2 years subject to satisfactory completion of a probationary period of three months. Gross salary is PLN 11,757 per month. Staff are responsible for paying any income tax required by the local law. Staff recruited locally by the British Embassy in Warsaw are subject to Terms and Conditions of Service according to Polish employment law. Staff are entitled to time-off-in-lieu for agreed extra hours worked. The annual leave entitlement is 20 or 26 days per year pro rata. The Embassy also enjoys a maximum of 14 Polish/UK public holidays per year. The British Embassy Warsaw has a strong commitment to work/life balance. Standard office hours are 8.30-16.30 with flexi-hours possibility within the opening hours 8.00-18.00. We also have mobile technology and offer hybrid working with remote working days to be agreed with Line Managers.
