Main tasks :
Provisioning of catalog IS/IT services (staging of new computers, installation of softwares,)
Onboarding of new end-users
Remote or on-site resolving technical problems with hardware, software and connectivity (L0 - L1) Troubleshooting customer issues while maintaining agreed upon service levels for customer contact and resolve
Advise end-user about the use of catalog IS/IT services
Participate in the configuration and support of internal systems
Participate to all End-Support Squad tasks (physical inventory, evacuation of obsolete equipment,..)
Adhering to documented policies, procedures and processes that are specific to the IS/IT department
Clear and concise documentation of all end-user interaction within appropriate ITSM tool
Working closely together with the Squad Leads, IT Manager and IT Program Manager to report status, facilitate decisions, manage risks and escalate as needed.
Competency requirements:
You ideally have a degree in IT
Mandatory: You have at least 3 years of experience as a Support Engineer in a >100 end points IT environment
You master the installation of new end-points (laptops, computers,...) in a Windows environment
Advanced knowledge in Computer Hardware
Advanced knowledge in Common Software applications
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Operating system
Proficient knowledge in Printer Hardware
Proficient knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting networking, wireless and VPN features of end-user devices
Proficient knowledge in ITSM software
Microsoft Office & Office 365 applications
You are familiar with most of the following technologies:
o Windows 10-11, Windows Server / AD
o PowerShell
o Linux basics
o VMware vSphere vCenter
o Backup solutions (Veeam)
o Wireless solutions
o TCP/IP / Antivirus / VoIP basics / Printing / Cybersecurity basics
o Mobile devices
Experience working with Jira/Confluence is a clear asset
Experience working with SharePoint (hosting and content) is a clear asset
Good knowledge of French and ability to work in English.
