Develop and optimize the accessories and the perfusion tubing system of the disposables for Organ Care System (OCS). Design products and solutions as part of the ''Organ Care System (OCS),'' focusing on all aspects related to the components and layout of the disposables lines, including design, verification, and manufacturability within the system/subsystems.This specialized role emphasizes ensuring optimal product design and manufacturability through engineering analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop accessories and perfusion tubing systems for the OCS platform, ensuring R&D project deliverables meet quality, cost, and time objectives. Collaborate with the VP of Disposables Development and stakeholders to innovate key performance features and technologies for organ preservation during transplantation.Identify optimal configurations for accessories and disposables, optimize layouts, select components, and work with internal and external stakeholders for customized solutions, using a data-driven approach.Work closely with the VP of Disposables Development, end users (e.g., Clinical Engineering), and engineering team members to realize disposables accessories and introduce innovations to TMDX devices.Coordinate with RA/QA teams to ensure submission strategies are aligned with project goals.Manage project tasks by leveraging internal and external resources.Monitor project progress, identify technical risks, implement mitigations, and ensure KPIs are met to guarantee project success, in collaboration with the Intelligence engineering team and stakeholders.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequiredExtensive experience in designing accessories for medical devices and manufacturing processes of disposables, particularly in polymeric and biomedical environments, including measurement systems.Deep knowledge of components and subassemblies used in disposables lines.Minimum of 7 years of experience in medical devices.Degree in mechanical, mechatronic, biomedical engineering, or a technical diploma with extensive relevant experience.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in English; Italian language skills are preferred.Ability to work effectively in an international environment.Motivated to improve products, techniques, and patient outcomes.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.Willing to relocate to Mirandola, Italy.Seniority LevelMid-Senior LevelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionEngineering, Project Management, ResearchIndustriesMedical Equipment Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
