FP&A Analyst Financial Planning & Analysis
Location: Brussels, Belgium | Hybrid (up to 3 days remote)
An international insurance group is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join its Finance team based in Brussels. The role is part of the FP&A department and reports directly to the FP&A Manager. You will work closely with stakeholders such as the CFO, Finance Management, Actuarial, and Underwriting teams.
Your Role:
As FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting cycles, budgeting, and forecasting. Your main responsibilities include:
- Preparing accurate financial plans, forecasts, and management information.
- Enhancing and automating reporting processes (Power BI, etc.).
- Preparing entity-level management, statutory, and regulatory reports.
- Delivering analysis and narratives for the Property & Casualty and Marine segments.
- Supporting strategic finance initiatives aligned with group objectives.
- Contributing to knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices across the FP&A function.
Your Profile:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a finance/analytical role; experience in the insurance sector is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems (e.g., CODA, Oracle, Power BI).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is an asset.
- A collaborative team player with solid communication skills and a proactive attitude toward remote collaboration and cross-functional partnerships.
