About the Role
MindCapture is looking for a driven Analytical Scientist to join one of our leading biopharmaceutical partners in Belgium. As part of a high-impact Analytical Science & Technology (AST) team within the MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology) organization, you will play a key role in supporting analytical method development, validation, and technology transfer across the product lifecycle.
This role combines hands-on laboratory work with scientific documentation and cross-functional collaboration. Youll contribute directly to ensuring product quality, innovation, and regulatory readiness in a team that operates at the intersection of science and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and validate analytical methods for biopharmaceutical products in line with regulatory standards
- Support analytical technology transfers between internal sites or external CRO/CMO partners
- Troubleshoot and optimize methods for cell-based bioassays, enzymatic assays, and protein binding assays
- Perform characterization testing and non-routine analysis to support upstream/downstream process teams
- Contribute to regulatory dossiers, inspection readiness, and responses to health authority questions
- Draft study protocols, validation reports, and documentation for method transfer, qualification, and comparability
- Evaluate new technologies and support implementation in the analytical landscape
- Collaborate across departments and contribute to knowledge transfer and training initiatives
Requirements
- PhD or Masters degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or equivalent by experience
- Solid hands-on experience with bioassays, enzymatic assays, and protein binding interaction techniques
- Knowledge of spectroscopic methods (e.g. SoloVPE, CD, DLS) is a strong plus
- Familiarity with automated systems (e.g. Tecan, Hamilton) is a bonus
- Proven track record in method validation and transfer within a GxP environment
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and scientific writing ability
- Excellent command of Dutch & English
- Comfortable working both in the lab and on documentation/analysis
