Responsibilities
The Implementation Engineer is responsible for partnering with internal and external stakeholders to identify their business needs, analyze technical requirements, and translate them into best-practice solutions for the successful implementation and optimization of Recornect products. This role reports into the VP of Product and Technology.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in a Technical field
3-5 years experience work experience in a similar role
Understanding of cloud computing principles, including infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and SaaS deployment models.
Familiarity with major cloud platforms but mainly Azure, including key concepts like virtual machines, cloud storage, identity and access management, monitoring/logging.
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, DNS, firewalls, NAT, CDNs and VPNs.
Awareness of how secure network communications are established using protocols like HTTPS and TLS.
Understanding of how enterprise networks may impact software integrations, including the role of proxies and load balancers.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OpenID Connect
Understanding of data encryption methods (at rest and in transit), secure credential handling, and secrets management.
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001, especially in relation to customer data security and system access.
Awareness of data governance principles, including data quality, retention policies, auditability, and compliance considerations.
Experience with technical project execution tools, such as issue tracking systems, knowledge bases, and documentation platforms.
Basic knowledge of version control systems, such as Git, and continuous integration/deployment practices.
Familiarity with software deployment and troubleshooting processes, including how to escalate technical issues and communicate status to stakeholders.
Great communication skills in Dutch, English and German
