Oxford Global Resources is partnering with Medical Devices Company, to support a permanent contract opportunity for an experienced Process engineer in Cork, Ireland.
Were looking for an experienced consultant in mechanical engineering, with a background in automation, for a transformation project of their production and packaging. The client currently has new automated production equipment and systems coming in from vendors and they need support with its design, implementation and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Part of the development & implementation of automated equipment
- Work as part of a cross functional team to ensure system integration is considered on all systems
- Build organizational capability by working to better support internal customers and the delivery of products and services
- Collaborate with other engineers, QA, and Ops to embed testing into the development and validation
- Analyse issues that arise, identify root causes of failures, and ensure timely resolution
- Complete FMEAs, review and support the development of FDS, SDS, equipment manuals etc.
- Define and monitor quality metrics and KPIs to ensure the process is robust
- Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input from a testability and automation perspective
What Were Looking For:
- 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment in life sciences
- Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent technical experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Proven Project Management skills through the delivery of projects
- Demonstrable ability to work autonomously
- A team player, with a flexible approach.
