Job Opportunity: Data Scientist in Medical Device DevelopmentRandstad Digital, a division of Randstad Italy specializing in the recruitment of ICT professionals, is seeking a talented Data Scientist for a renowned software house focused on developing digital solutions for the medical sector.The selected candidate will join an international team dedicated to the development and validation of intelligent medical devices. The role combines advanced statistical skills and operational capabilities in managing and analyzing complex datasets, with a focus on training AI models, generating regulatory reports, and ensuring compliance with sector standards.Responsibilities and Activities:Designing and implementing pipelines for collecting, cleaning, and transforming heterogeneous data, including images and metadata.Using languages such as R and SQL for data integration, manipulation, and extraction from clinical and operational sources.Managing the full lifecycle of datasets: stratification, versioning, documentation, and quality control.Statistical Analysis and Reporting:Developing statistical models to analyze distributions, identify anomalies, outliers, and significant trends.Performing statistical tests and inferential analyses (e.g., t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square).Defining criteria, thresholds, and reference ranges to comply with experimental protocols.Producing technical and statistical reports for internal use and regulatory purposes.Essential Requirements:Master''s degree or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related quantitative disciplines.Strong knowledge of experimental design, sample size calculation, stratification methods, and inferential analysis.Advanced skills in R, SQL, and Linux environments.Experience managing datasets based on images and structured metadata.Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib).Knowledge of the regulated healthcare environment, medical devices, or clinical trials.Additional Skills (Plus):Experience in DevOps or systems management supporting data pipelines.Ability to design logical and analysis-oriented data structures.Knowledge of data versioning tools (e.g., Git, DVC) and cloud environments.Work Mode and Compensation:Full remote work with monthly team meetings.Compensation commensurate with experience.Direct hire by the client under the National Collective Labour Agreement for Commerce.This announcement is open to all genders, ages, and nationalities, in accordance with legislative decrees 903/77, 125/91, 215/03, and 216/03.#J-18808-Ljbffr
