We are looking for an Engineering Bid Project ManagerTo be hired on a permanent contract in the Customer Service department, for its premises in Milan or other Siemens locations in Italy. She/He will be responsible for analyzing and preparing technical and commercial quotations for AC/DC motors and drives, Automation Systems (PLC and/or DCS), and related projects focused on Digitization, mainly for Italian customers and occasionally for foreign countries. From Day 1, you are empowered to make a difference for a better tomorrow with your full potential and creativity.As an Engineering Bid Project Manager, your mission will be to:Analyze requests for quotations received from Sales.Identify the best technical and commercial solutions within the service product portfolio of the relevant business segment.Understand competitor involvement to ensure the best technical solution proposal.Coordinate with technical and procurement departments to find technical resources or System Integrators capable of preparing competitive solutions.In the short term, you will manage:Support sales in public and private tenders by preparing technical and commercial documentation in compliance with legal policies.Within the Customer Services Unit, be responsible for preparing customized retrofit solutions for Machines Tool, Industrial and Process Control Systems, including supervision, monitoring, remote-control systems, industrial networks, and digitalization solutions.Quote dedicated post-go-live services such as Predictive, Preventive, or Corrective Maintenance and Maintenance contracts based on customer requirements.Work across sectors like lifting and mining industries, steel and metallurgical industries, cement, thermoelectric and hydroelectric plants, food and beverage industries, pharmaceutical, and automatic warehouses.Ideal candidate profile:Experience with electric motors, drives, automation systems, and HMI.Knowledge of drive techniques, electric motors, PLC and DCS configurations, and industrial networks.Basic understanding of electrotechnics, electronics, Digitization, and Industry 4.0.Preferred: knowledge of motion control devices.Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation, or Technical High School Diploma.Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for technical inspections.Teamwork, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills.Passion for continuous growth.Respect for diversity, willingness to share knowledge.Proficiency in English and Italian.Legal eligibility to work in Italy.What we offer:Flexible work environment with hybrid and remote options, supported by innovative tools and devices, including reimbursement for Wi-Fi.Welfare programs, health insurance for you and your family, professional and extraprofessional accident insurance, and free on-site lunch options.Opportunities for continuous personal development and learning.An inclusive team culture that values authenticity.Join us and be yourself.
