Accountant - Bolton Swiss
We are looking for an Accountant to join our F&A Team in Bolton Swiss and Bolton Austria.
This position is crucial for Bolton as it strengthens our local Finance & Administration team, ensuring efficient accounting and procurement processes. The role directly contributes to business stability and operational excellence by optimizing financial management and supplier relations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping of purchases, expenses, customer transactions, and bank statements.
- Manage tax and legal declarations, including VAT, Intrastat, ARA, and GST/HST, in collaboration with business consultants for monthly filings.
- Prepare and maintain archives of purchase and sales invoices.
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations and coordinate with the Finance & Administration team in Italy for timely data availability.
- Review and reconcile customer and bank balances; ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping of customer collections and invoices.
- Conduct credit collection activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and controls.
- Handle bank payments, account reconciliations, and monitor cash flow to optimize financial management.
- Manage fixed costs, overheads, and support procurement activities.
- Prepare financial and sales reports to support decision-making.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with fiscal, legal, and regulatory requirements in coordination with external consultants.
- Manage updates related to privacy policies and compliance requirements.
- Act as a point of contact for IT-related tasks, including device management and EDI flow coordination.
Team: The role reports to the F&A Manager and is part of the finance team.
Ideal Candidate: - 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting, analytics, or similar roles, with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in an international team environment.
- Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/Navision), Power BI, and EDI flow.
