PositionKey member to join the development offices in Roma as Knitwear Product Development Manager in charge of overseeing the development of all knitwear products (from the protos stage to final samples). Objective is to manage all the development process and deliver all information, liaising with style, merchandising and production team.Main ResponsibilitiesManage the entire product development process and timelines with constant relationship with style departmentBuild a strong relationship with the design and suppliers acting as their main point of contact throughout the development lifecycleLiaise with design team to address fit issues while ensuring cost, quality and lead times are maintained.Develop relationships with current and new suppliersProactively involved in R&D for yarn and new manufacturing techniques for innovation and cost containment to achieve targets;Manage creation and updating of product data sheets;Share technical information and support industrialization during fine-tuning phasesDeal with Quality Control office for any problems related to the materials and models developed.Job RequirementsAt least 8 years experience in a similar roleStrong knowledge of yarning and trimming techniquesStrong costing and negotiation skillsStrong relationship with suppliersExcellent understanding of luxury finishings and strong attention to detailHighly organised, ability to prioritize, manage and coordinate diverse activities simultaneouslyExcellent communication skillsFluent knowledge of English languageWillingness to travel frequently around ItalyLVMH is committed to non-discrimination and respect of each persons singularities.
