Our mission is to drive innovation and leverage machine learning and data-driven solutions to solve strategic business challenges. You will work across various domains, including product, sales, marketing, and operations, impacting business outcomes at scale. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about learning and leveraging data science to create real-world impact.A typical dayDevelop predictive models, advanced analytics solutions, and visualization tools for internal teams and end customers. Initial projects may include: scoring models for sales and customer service, recommendation systems, automation of repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.Conduct complex analyses for business stakeholders, translating insights into actionable recommendations.Own the feedback loop for testing and improving machine learning models.Design, propose, and measure A/B tests for product features, ensuring alignment with business goals.Identify data-driven opportunities to enhance different stages of the customer journey.Collaborate with data engineering and infrastructure teams to develop scalable, end-to-end solutions.Serve as a technical representative when engaging with external stakeholders.Recommend and implement new technologies, processes, and systems to optimize efficiencies and business performance.Maintain awareness of emerging trends in data science, machine learning, and technology.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Produce detailed technical documentation and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.What you need to succeedBSc/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.Around 4 - 5 years of experience as a Data ScientistStrong communication skills to translate technical analysis into business insights.Extensive experience with Python and data visualization frameworks (e.G., Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib).Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.Experience with data modeling and statistical analysis.Familiarity with cloud environments (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.).Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.Solid understanding of clean code principles and version control (Git).Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.Nice to have: Experience in designing and measuring A/B tests.Nice to have: Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications.Nice to have: Knowledge of best practices around service-oriented architectures or microservices.About the recruitment processYour first contact with CoverWallet will be through an HR interview with one of our colleagues from the Talent Acquisition area, who will tell you everything about our company and its history, as well as the details of the position, functions and your future conditions.
