The private markets tax team needs to expand its operational tax capabilities covering both technical and operational aspects.

The position as Tax Analyst includes the following activities:

  1. Assist in the annual tax compliance process (coordination and review of the tax returns prepared by external advisors) and in arranging tax reporting to investors;
  2. Assist in collecting information for the annual U.S. tax reporting process for our products in conjunction with external service providers;
  3. Establish and oversee operational tax procedures and controls;
  4. Assessment of changes in international and domestic taxation rules and their impact on the investment funds;
  5. Management of ad hoc tax projects and processes.

Requirements

  1. BA or preferably Masters in tax, finance or accounting; L.L.M. or equivalent;
  2. Up to 3 years of experience in tax (advisory and/or asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or real estate);
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft office applications, in particular in Excel;
  4. Fluent in German and advanced English is required;
  5. Good analytical skills and ability to manage multiple and diverse tasks;
  6. Team player, self-motivated with the ability to work independently;
  7. Profile: a problem solver, very organized and detail orientated;
  8. Good communication skills, assertive, confident, and trustworthy.
